I find that technology is a super tricky subject. There are pros and cons to just about everything technological. However, do the pros outweigh the cons? Lots of kids my age, including myself, have an iPhone. I know that all of us are super addicted to it; it has everything we need right there in front of us. As much as I absolutely love my phone, I can't help but think sometimes that I'd be better off without it.
My iPhone distracts my from doing my homework, chores, and plenty of other things. Some say well just put it away until you're done, but it's so not that easy! I also constantly feel the need to check my social media accounts to the point of obsession. I know I'm not the only one, and it's kind of ridiculous that we all act this way. Everywhere you look teens are on their phones, and it's not really a good thing. Make sure to answer my poll below about technology obsession, and maybe go outside or something.

I highly agree with you. I'm addicted to my phone, and I'm pretty sure most teens are. I know exactly how you feel when you said you'd be better off without it. Another example you could've added was that your phone distracts you from having family bonding time.

This is so true. Every person who has a phone is always on them. No matter what, they will either have it in their pocket or in their hand.

I completely agree with you Claire. Owning technology is helpful, but it is definitely my number one distraction. I find myself neglecting everything important and spending all my time on my computer. I have noticed that when I have my laptop in my room, I am constantly on it rather than doing my chores, homework, or anything else productive.
